Early 1920s Antique French Longchamp Green and White Oyster Platter
A splendid antique 13" diameter round green and white glazed French Majolica Longchamp Oyster Platter from the early 1920s.
These older Longchamp oyster plates and platters were typically not marked.
This lovely platter features twelve white shell shaped wells for oysters with two central wells for condiments or additional oysters.
They are embedded on a green basket weave design and trimmed in a dark brown rope design.
It displays beautifully and would look fabulous for serving.
