A stunning silverplated antique Champagne Bucket or Wine Cooler made by the renowned Derby Silver Company, Birmingham, Connecticut (1872).

Circa 1873-1898.

Hallmark impressed on the bottom with the name "Derby" followed by a logo.

Under the name is a rectangular box with the pattern #20.

This French style bucket features a 7.25" diameter bell shaped top rim with the body narrowing in layers at the bottom.

There are two large ribbed knob handles

Many pieces from this silver company are shown in the Brooklyn Museum and the Yale University Art Gallery.
