A beautiful set of seven Mid Century French faience glazed Majolica Oyster Plates with Platter, circa 1950s-60s.
Made in Orchies, France at the Moulin des Loups factory.
Back stamped with the windmill on the reverse of each piece.
These striking coastal plates feature a lovely olive green ombre glaze deepening in color on a white background.
Each plate is comprised of six shell shaped oyster wells with a seventh central well for sauces or lemons.
The 13" platter features ten outer shell wells with four central shells for more oysters or sauces and lemons.
They display beautifully as a wall grouping or for serving.
Dimensions:
Platter is 13" diameter 1" height
Plates are 9.5" diameter .75" height
These items will be very carefully packaged and shipped with tracking to ensure they arrive intact.
